Day 1: November 23, 2017 (Workshops)
Dear IFA friends.
As scientific programme chairs, we invite you to attend the IFAD pre-symposium workshops that offer a fantastic opportunity to meet and greet key-opinion leaders and experts in their field in a small interactive group. You will have a true VIP experience in the front seat. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first serve basis. We will have a full series around stewardship that is not to be missed: Antibiotic Stewardship, Sepsis Stewardship, Fluid Stewardship, and Nutrition Stewardship. The hemodynamic workshops 1 and 2 (Beginners) can be booked consecutively as they will elaborate on a sepsis and trauma case during the initial Resuscitation/Salvage (hemodynamic workshop 1) and subsequent Optimisation phase (hemodynamic workshop 2). The hemodynamic workshops 3 and 4 are identical and thus cannot be booked consecutively. They will deal with tips, tricks, and pitfalls of hemodynamic monitoring and elaborate on the assessment of fluid responsiveness and goal-directed therapy (Advanced). Enjoy the IFAD!
