Biography
Dr Stefaan Bouchez is working as a cardiac anesthesiologist at the Ghent University Hospital in Belgium. He completed his anesthesia residency and a fellowship in cardiac anesthesia at the Catholic University of Leuven and the OLV Clinic of Aalst. He joined the Ghent University anesthesia department in 2001. His areas of clinical expertise include adult and pediatric cardiac anesthesia, perioperative echocardiography and lung ultrasound, pulmonary hypertension and left ventricular assist devices.
