Biography
Prof. Reuter received his undergraduate medical educa-tion at the Universities of Würzburg (Germany), New York (USA), and Munich (Germany). He was trained in anesthesiology and intensive care medicine at the Uni-versity Hospitals of Tübingen and Munich with particular emphasis on cardiac and transplant surgery. At the Uni-versity of Munich he received as well his specialization in intensive care medicine. Since 2006, he is vice chair of the Department of Anesthesiology at the Hamburg Eppendorf University Medical Center, and since 2009 he is appointed as a Professor of Anesthesiology at the Medical Faculty of the University of Hamburg.
