Dr. Olusanya Segun
Biography
Olusegun Olusanya is a Clinical Fellow in North Hampshire Hospital, Basingstoke. He completed his medical school training in the University of Southampton, gaining a Bsc in Biomedical Sciences in 2003 and a Batchelor of Medicine Degree in 2004. He is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists. He is a member of the UK Intensive Care Society’s Trainee Committee, a digital editor for the Journal of the Intensive Care Society, an editor for Life in the Fast Lane (www.lifeinthefastlane.com), an editor for The Bottom Line (www.thebottomline.org) and a founding member of the UK group “Tea and Empathy” (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1215686978446877/) which supports doctors in distress. His interests include point-of-care ultrasound, burnout, and social media as an adjunct to medical education. Outside medicine he runs a bakery alongside his wife, and enjoys martial arts, good books, movies and video games.
